YBA PRIVACY POLICY
Effective October 2026
YBA LLC ("YBA," "we," "us") operates ybaworld.com (the "Site") and the YBA Knowledge Portal (the "Portal"). This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide: your name, email address, company, phone number and any other information you send us through the Site's forms or by email.
Business contact information: names, titles and email addresses we receive through our professional relationships, such as meetings, introductions and correspondence.
Portal account information: the name, email address and role your organization's Administrator provides, together with your sign-in and account activity.
Usage information: the Site and the Portal use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in to the Portal and to understand how the Site is used.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, provide and support our services, operate and secure the Portal, send our newsletter and other business communications, and improve the Site. Securing the Portal includes alerting an organization to unauthorized use of its accounts. We do not sell personal information.
3. Client Content
When an organization uses the Portal, we act on its behalf. Video, documents and other materials it uploads belong to that organization. We handle them under its agreement with YBA. Requests about that content should be directed to the organization.
4. How We Share Information
We share personal information with service providers that help us run the Site, the Portal and our production work, such as hosting, email, analytics and production software providers, subject to confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or the security of our services, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
5. Storage and Security
We host the Portal with DigitalOcean on servers in New York City. Portal data remains in the United States. It is encrypted in transit and at rest. If a security incident affects an organization's data, we notify that organization. We maintain reasonable safeguards to protect all personal information we hold.
6. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above. We keep newsletter contacts until you unsubscribe. When an organization's agreement with YBA ends, we delete its Portal data after delivering its library. Backup copies are cleared within 30 days.
7. Your Choices
You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in each message. To access, correct or delete your personal information, contact us at hello@ybaworld.com. Portal users may also contact their organization's Administrator. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
